Oh no - he's coming my way!! by pamknowler

Oh no - he's coming my way!!

My heart was in my mouth as Murphy stopped running and came to the middle to join me and Simon. He really was the perfect gentleman though and I was even able to stroke him. Very pleased with myself and thankful that Murphy is such a gentle animal!!

Many thanks for your lovely comments and Favs on my images. I just had to put them into my project as they are fabulous memories which I will treasure always!!
I have to laugh at those muddy legs!

Superb capture of Murphy :)

Great capture -- you convey what it felt like to have him coming at you, and so much larger than you. I like that you also have his shadow. Did you have any space to work with to get his full shadow into the frame? And I'm guessing you had very muddy shoes by the end of this adventure!

@taffy I was concentrating so hard on Murphy coming towards me I wasn't even aware of the shadow. Only saw it when I uploaded the shot but too late!! The water came over the top of the feet of my wellington boots. I was so relieved I didn't fall backwards into the water when doing my panning shots - I got dizzy!! LOL!!

I’m so proud of you for overcoming your fear of horses. Murphy is a good boy.

He looks like a very even-tempered horse, not to mention rather good-looking.
