Back to the noisy starlings who seem to be at my feeders constantly not giving any other birds a chance. There are at least 20 babies in the gang and I can only see 2 adults - they cannot be all from one family surely? Sadly there was a death yesterday when one of the babies flew into my window and hurt itself. It seemed to revive and was hiding in the bushes but later I found George sitting on the lawn with the dead body. Was it "murder most foul?" or did it die from shock I wonder. I managed to retrieve and dispose of the body - no visible marks on it.

Wow, so many at once! Fantastic treat to have them all. Sorry about the death........methinks it died of shock if there were no marks on it unless George swiped it one around the head!
