I haven't taken any photos today so I have used one from a couple of weeks ago in the garden taken into Topaz Texture Effects to get rid of messy background.
Just to give you an update on George (on the RHS of this photo).
After the first dose of the medicine on Wednesday he seemed much better with no panting (which indicates he is in pain) and we had a quiet night. Last night however after a day where he was quite listless he had another bout of the panting. It really is horrible to see him like this. It lasted for about half an hour and then eased off and he had a quiet night. Today he has been much more like his old self and when we went for a walk he was jumping on Finlay trying to make him play. When we got home he just flopped down and didn't move for ages. I phoned the vet as she had requested to update her and she has said he seems to have made a slight improvement and to continue with the medication. Keep a close eye on him and contact the vet if necessary.
So he is a little better but still not 100%.
He has just run into the study chasing after Finlay biting his tail!! Call me a liar George!! LOL!!
Many thanks for your lovely comments and best wishes for George - so very much appreciated!!
This is a wonderful portrait of the two. You have folks around the globe hoping for George's speedy recovery! It always feels so helpless when a dear pet isn't feeling well.
So sorry to hear George hasn't been well, so worrying & he pitched a bad time to be ill while you were on holiday! Glad he seems to be on the mend, our pets do put us though it!
A gorgeous capture of the two boys Pam,they bring a smile to my face.
