We came home today - a six and half hour drive with most of it sat in traffic on the M5. After our walk on Instow beach my foot was really hurting so I decided to come home today rather than tomorrow. Now I can hardy walk!! Driving definitely aggravates my ankle. Oh well home now after a wonderful week in Devon and no rain which was such a bonus!!
This from yesterday's walk at Instow. This is the small harbour and when the tide is in you can catch a ferry across the river to Appledore. You just have to be careful to get the ferry back before the tide turns!!
@lyndamcg it is my favourite place and I much prefer it to Westward Ho! where we stayed this time. We are back again in May staying in our favourite Instow house.
