We took a different path through the woods yesterday much to the boys delight as there were a few squirrels they enjoyed chasing. They couldn't understand how they could escape up the trees!! The squirrels were playing with them.
We thought this would be a short cut back to the car park - which it was - but unfortunately we came out at the top of a steep hill and I had no chance of getting down it with my weak ankle. It is improving by the way but I still need to be careful. We had to retrace our steps and take the normal path out of the woods.
