We met up with my niece Ruth today and her daughter Mia came too. We went for lunch to our favourite place in Appledore and as the two younger girls were in school we were able to have a "ladies who lunch" time. Such fun and so wonderful to see Ruth relaxed. This image of Mia is the first photo I have been able to take of her since she was about 14 years old. She went through a really bad time with many issues and there was never a smile on her face. This photo makes me cry with happiness that she seems to have come out the other side of the darkness where she has been for years.
