I heard some birds tweeting and looked up to see these two House Martin's nests right over the front door. There were four adult birds flying around and I could see two babies in the nest on the LHS. The adults were taking it in turns to swoop in and feed the babies. It all looks very messy around the nest and down on the floor by the door.

Oh isn’t this lovely, they are up against your alarm! We had so many nestle like this in our calf shippons but now a house so all gone, I feel so sad. I think you can buy pre made nests to attach to your wall. The work that’s gone into this though when you look closely...they will return each year if you leave that nest in place. Excellent shot.
@louannwarren yes the nests are made of mud. At one point two adults squeezed into the nest with the babies and all I could see was a tail sticking out! Very cosy inside I think! Lol!
