I was inspired by Casablanca @casablanca washing her car to go and get my car washed by the Polish chaps in town. For some reason they do not like having their photo taken and as soon as they saw me taking shots - just of the water from the jet wash - they went to the rear of the car out of shot. LOL!! Anyway this was the best of a dodgy set so I decided to take it into Topaz Impressions and have a play. This has been given a saturated watercolour filter which I thought was very apt. My car looks a dream after a very efficient valeting. So much easier than doing it myself!! LOL!!
Best on black
Your comments on my images are much appreciated. As an update on my gardener - Sophie. Yes she did get paid - £20 for just a small square of the patio. I had already done the rest!! She asked if we had any indoor jobs but when I suggested ironing she says she doesn't know how to iron. Trying to find jobs for her to do before she goes off to Uni again. I think she sees me as her money tree!! LOL!!
Had to laugh at your Sophie story.....not unusual at all, when my grandchildren asked for jobs I never gave them hard ones & always asked myself will they be OK doing that....even so far as giving then jobs that weren’t that important! We are silly....luckily they all have paid jobs now, well the oldest ones do.
Funny how some workman are camera shy...they probably thought you were spying! They are the same in supermarkets...the staff don’t like it! Great abstract car wash....
This is a great colourful abstract, instant fav. Watercolour! That made me smile. Maybe your chaps aren't particularly legal......or just camera shy! Nice to have a sparkly clean car, especially if you didn't have to do it. Though I really enjoy washing the car. No idea why! Brings out the kid in me being out there messing about with a hosepipe!
