Yes they really are playing. Every morning they have this play fighting which they both really seem to enjoy. That's Finlay underneath George. They are mouthing each other not biting!! So funny watching them!!
The rest of the time they ignore each other except when my sister or I talk to one or other of them and jealousy rears it's ugly head. Normally George gets very vocal with growling but they never come to actual blows. All noise!!
