First day of our trip to Derbyshire and I took Louise and Ken @weezilou to Chatsworth House. It was raining so hard all day that we were unable to use the tickets I had bought for the garden.
They both loved the drive to Chatsworth even in the rain and they loved the house itself. So much history and so many beautiful things to look at and photograph. Now back in our cosy cottage in Monyash enjoying drinks and nibbles. What a great start to our week in Derbyshire. We are just waiting for the sun to shine!!

A Fave for your good photography, Pam, but you've fallen in with a bad crowd! I, for one, never know when it's time to quit, and when time is brief, I don't want to miss a thing...did you notice? SO MUCH to see, so there I was continually catching up to find Ken and Pam having a brief rest before carrying on! That was *quite a house*! We're going to have a great holiday!

I picked out one tonight, and then the internet was too slow... We're still away for a while; we visited our kids before going to Florence to see friends. Took a photo class in Tuscany and I considered never leaving there! Now visiting Pam and only just getting underway! There's still much to see, and I look forward to meeting some 365 friends along the way! I have not left 365! Enjoying day to day and when life slows a bit more, I'll be in better touch again! Ciao!
