Early morning check on the blue tit babies and yes they are still in the nest. This shot made me laugh - I think the other baby got the bug on this visit!! LOL!! Not as sharp as I would like as the adult is moving very quickly out of the nest!! They move so fast!!
We are off to the beach for a walk with the dogs before it gets too warm. I think this is the last day of sunshine so we must make the most of it. Will we get home and find an empty nest? The babies keep coming to the opening so I think it will be soon.
It like waiting for the dove to return from Noah's Ark!! One day it was sent out, it came back. The next time it came back with olive leaves in its beak. The third time it never returned........watching with you for your wee ones to fly the nest, ready to build their own next year.
