Following on from yesterday's image of the Jay listening here are two woodpeckers - mum and baby - listening. Even though mum was busy feeding her chick she was on the watch for any danger. I think she heard the Jay calling just before he arrived in the garden.
The joy of sitting in the kitchen watching through the window - wonderful!!
