A quick upload as I am not feeling too well. I was in A&E all yesterday afternoon being tested for what they thought was a kidney stone in my urethra. I had been awake all night in terrible pain in my hip right through to my groin. Anyway after many tests they said it wasn't a stone and thought it might be referred pain from arthritis in my hip. I do not agree with this as I have never had pain in my hip before, unlike my knees, and the pain was so sudden and strong. I felt disappointed that they don't really know what the problem is although they said I was dehydrated and there was some grit in my urine so it might be that. So I am on strong pain killers - codeine which I hate and I will have to see what happens. I am still in pain but not as severe as it was the night before last. All for now as I keep nodding off!
Just to say all the nurses and doctors at Kettering General Hospital were fantastic - so kind!! Working 12 hour days in these scary times - my heroes!!
I just feel I’m riding along on a cart behind these lovely horses!
Sorry to hear of your illness Pam....we always want a definite prognosis so it’s disappointing they don’t 100% know what caused your pain. Anything to do with kidneys does cause immense pain so much so I bet it turns out to be that....hope you have a good nights sleep tonight & feel better tomorrow! I'm so sorry to see you're having all those medical difficulties with no solution turning up! I have passed a couple kidney stones so I know how painful they are! I also know about the pain medication. I hate that fog they put you in but sometimes you just have to take them. I hope whatever it is makes its way out of your system soon. Until then, you've posted a nice shot with that pov which makes us feel like we're on the ride with you. Get well soon!
Oh no, Pam! So sorry to read you are dealing with medical issues and in pain. I'm sending good thoughts your way and wishing whatever is causing the pain leaves soon!!
