I found my images from my trip to the Lake District, October 2008, with my photography friend Simon Watkinson. We arrived in Keswick in the afternoon and Simon told us to grab our gear and we would go down to the lake for sunset. What a magical session it was - breathtaking views across the lake with a fabulous sunset. It was lucky we did this as the following few days we were there it poured with rain all day - no more sunsets!!
Finally feeling much better although still not 100% but definitely on the mend. Many thanks for your good wishes which were very much appreciated!! It was not a kidney stone but probably grit/sand which I have to say was the most painful thing I have ever had. Drinking gallons now to make sure I stay hydrated!!
I have not been able to keep up with 365 and I know I have missed many of your great images - so sorry for the lack of comments!!
This is a stunner and Derwentwater is my favourite lake, so you won me in an instant when I saw this! Beautiful.
Glad you are getting there and the pain is reduced. Sending you heaps of love and get well wishes xxxx
Never mind Pam as long as you’re feeling much better, it will have left you feeling weak & tired so just take your time getting back to it all.
Good to look back on happy times...Keswick is a lovely part of the Lake District.
