We went to a different country park this morning as it was threatening rain and I thought we would be a little sheltered under the huge trees.
There are two enormous conker trees and last year the ground was completely covered with conkers. Today there were lots of tiny conkers in their shells - Have not seen that before and I hope it doesn't affect the crop later in the year.
Here I am looking up under one of the enormous trees.
Rain?? It has been hot and dry here all day.......a tad too hot at times. Fascinates me that we are not that many miles apart and yet our weather can be so different! Lovely pov on the tree. Cazzi posted fallen baby conkers yesterday, so this is clearly happening all over. I hope it doesn't mean no Autumn conkers too!
