This is Finlay on yesterday’s walk. This is his regular trick. He sits down and waits as we carry on walking. I keep checking to see if he is following but in the end I do his recall “Finlay COME!” And he runs quickly up to us knowing he will get a treat! Of course he also comes if I call George! Finlay is greedy for treats and often throws himself down over my feet to stop me walking. He will do anything for a treat! George isn’t fussed and often turns away from his treat. Guess who then grabs the treat!
The large tree in the background is one of the Horse Chestnuts where we picked up all the conkers.
@maggiemae Finlay is fine thanks. he has done this trick since he was a puppy and learnt his recall. Too clever by half. I don't always give him the treat but at least when I do call him he actually gets a gallop on - other than that he trails behind us!!
