This one made me smile as the starling on the right seemed completely oblivious of the frantic fighting behind him. He just couldn't be bothered to join in!!
Update on call from doctor - stop reading now if I am boring you:
Still not at target for BP 138/81 and needs to be less than 135 - the number under the line is fine. More double readings and another phone call. Meanwhile he wants to take me off Amlodipine and put me on a diuretic. This is to try to stop the hot feet I have at night which keeps me awake tossing and turning with restless legs. I cannot bear the duvet to touch my feet. He says Amlodipine causes the small blood vessels to open and may be causing my problem. We are trying the new medication but I am not happy if it means even more visits to the loo in the night. My blood test results were good thankfully just cholesterol up slightly but that is better than my last test. As I am over 70 now he offered me a statin but I refused for the moment as I already have pains in arms and legs and he said that can be a side effect of the statin. Conclusion- getting old is no fun!!
I hope you mean 138/81 for your blood pressure otherwise you’re in big trouble 😂. Good luck with the new medication, this getting old really sucks. I resisted going on a statin for ages but gave in about a year ago, luckily no side effects and a fabulous drop in my cholesterol.
Maybe he’s deaf?! Ha! Fun capture.
I agree with @kjarn, 38 is way too low for your top number. My goodness BP is a pain. I hope your doctor finds the right pill to help you. I take Red Yeast Rice twice a day for my cholesterol, it has helped that number stay reasonable. My sister’s famous quote is “after 60, it’s patch, patch, patch.” Too true!
I think the same as the comments above hope you meant to say 138/81 because if it is 38 you are dead. Its a bugger getting old isn't it. David and I both rattle these days with the amount of tablets we take
That bird gave me a chuckle
