Topic of the Day - Thankful

I am thankful for so many things but especially my family and friends. I am thankful for 365 and the great supportive community I have discovered in this past year. I am thankful for my health and the health of my family. I am thankful for the beauty in this world that I see every day in the birds and wild life I try to get shots of. I am thankful of course for my darling Finlay - my great companion. And I could go on and on......

How to get a photo that encapsulated all the above though? I was in the garden putting some bird food out when this beautiful feather dropped out of the sky and landed at my feet. I saw no bird in flight!! I knew straight away that this would be my shot of the day. I am thankful for the little miracles in life!! Please look large if you have time!!

Lovely shot Pam and lovely sentiments. I stood in the Sanctuary at the Finger Lakes today and just enjoyed the peace of the place. I even got my phone out to record the sounds of silence just interspersed with sounds of birds. It was wonderful.
