My not so little robin came to say hello today - I think he is just puffed up to keep warm but he does look a little chubby!! I will tag this for the Six Word Story Challenge.
Looks better large against black if you have time.
Ribs still very tender but I think it's slowly on the mend as I haven't needed quite so many painkillers today!! At least I got some robin shots today. Both robins have been chasing round the garden and have even been on the feeder together. Romance is in the air!!
Thank you for all your great comments on my holiday shots -very much appreciated!! The sunrise reached the PP which is wonderful and Sepia Finlay was on the trending page. All due to your great support. I am slowly trying to catch up with you all and make some comments on your fab shots - I will get there in the end!!
Just had quick look st 365 before I go to bed and I was thrilled to see this shot is on the PP! How wonderful! That's put a big smile on my face! Many thanks to you all for your great comments and Favs which have put it on PP! I really appreciate your support!
This is so delightful, Pam; I love English robins. I love the Borth American ones too, but they are a totally different species. This is a fav for me! Glad your ribs are a bit better.
Oh Pam hadn't realised about your terrible accident, poor you so frightening. Knocks you for six literally when something like that happens. Take care and hope you feel better soon :-)
@lucypics Thanks so much Lucy - it did shake me up!! I am just thankful my sister was in the car and heard me shout out and that there was a man in another car who also came to me rescue. Not sure I could have got up on my own. It's after when you start thinking - thank goodness I wasn't alone as I was off the layby in the wood and not sure if anyone would have seen me!! I must be more careful when walking Finlay!!
Fav Pam, this is gorgeous. He is a really handsome fella! I would love to be able to have a bird feeder in our garden. but it would be like enticing lambs to the slaughter as our cat is a serial killer!!!!!
Thanks for the visits and comments today, Pam! I'm glad you're getting up and about more easily too. And that your robins are around to keep you company -- this shot is a great one from a perfect POV!
A fav from me too, good to see got on the PP! It is a beautiful capture of the robbin - I prefer him to be fat, not keeping warm. Though I suppose fat isn't good for flying!
Fantastic and so sharp. I've photographed robins and I know it is a challenge not only to get them sharp but also to ensure there is nothing in front of them such as twigs etc. I love the bokeh in the background as well.
Ribs are just so painful aren't they, hope you get better soon x
