This is the view from the garden of the cottage we are staying in. I have converted to B&W for our mentoring group's theme this week - bringing together what I have learnt so far about high contrast and high structure. I hope!! I took 3 shots and merged in Photomatix and finally converted to B&W using Nikefex Pro.
Finlay and I walked down to the lake today and the fish were jumping!!
This is wonderful Pam and reflects so many aspects of processing that led to this wonderful result. The deep scene, the details, the lines -- all makes for such a great composition.
Fantastic photo, Pam! I love the streaks of light shining from behind the clouds, the level of detail you've added to the foreground and the clouds, and how foggy and soft the hills are off in the distance. As far as a critique, I find myself getting lost out in the background (which is really my favorite part) but then getting distracted by the fence in the foreground.
Wonderful, and ticks all the boxes for me Pam. The dramatic sky with the light rays illuminates a delightfully crisp, clear rural landscape and its man-made aberrations. Just magic!! Fav
This is such a great shot Pam. There is so much to see, from the sun rays, the dramatic clouds, the reflections, and the wooden fence. You've done a great job.
For your comments please. This has taken ages to upload as I keep loosing the internet! Very frustrating!
