11th November 2014 - Shepherd's Warning (Remembrance Day Sky)
I let Finlay into the garden this morning and couldn't believe my eyes at the colour of the sky. Wow!! It is unusual to see a morning sky like this here where I live. I saw many more fantastic sunrises and sunsets when I lived in Redhill, Surrey near Gatwick airport. I think it was air pollution.

Beautiful sunrise.....so fiery! Speaking of fires, a few years back when we had some serious fires in the area the skies were this color....and, ashes rained from the sky!
Oh, now I get what Shepardman said about the warning - it is your equivalent of our saying " Red sky in the morning sailors take warning." Learning a lot here.
