This was the story of the day. A miserable foggy morning I took Finlay to the Country Park for a good walk. He had other ideas!! Every time he spotted someone either coming our way or behind us, whether they had a dog or not, he sat down and refused to move until they reached us. He loves to say hello to people (on the off chance they may have a treat in their pocket I think!!). It takes us so long to do a walk!! I used the opportunity to try to get some shots with people in using my little Lumix. Most shots had to be deleted - I miss my Canon 5D!!

@taffy@newbank@888rachel@golftragic Now I am home I know it will be difficult for me to take street shots with people. Not keen on the Lumix. Ok if it's a bright sunny day but it was dark and foggy today.
Really like this rural and winter like shot. The clothing indicates that it's cold.... Lovely scene. Our dogs are just like Finley. Both Bradley and Bailey love to have people walk by them so they can get petting and give affection.
@pixiemac No Sarah my 5D is ok thanks. In our mentoring group we are doing street photography which is not really something I have done. This week we are doing it with people in the shot and in a discussion it was suggested that a smaller camera might be more discreet - especially for me in a little town like Wellingborough. People here are not used to having a big SLR in their face!! I have been using my little Lumix but most of my shots yesterday had to be deleted. I haven't used it much but I am not that keen on the results from it.
Has something happened to your 5d? Hence the Lumix?
