Another shot from my early visit to Milton Keynes. This is looking into one of the shopping areas - so lovely with so few people!! This is for my mentoring group - Street photography - B&W is the theme for this week.
Many thanks for your great comments on yesterday's shots - very much appreciated!!
@taffy@newbank@888rachel@golftragic This is one from my trip to MK the other day. Taken with my Iphone as cameras not allowed inside the shopping centre. Perhaps I need more people to be real "street"?
I really like your composition in this one and there are people in the distance, so to me it counts as 'street'. It conveys the expanse of shopping in this UK area but also the universals (there's the ubiquitous Foot Locker!). The tones of grays work really well.
I really like this Pam. It is a peek into your shopping world. I try and see what the shops are. And I wonder why there are 2 different floor surfaces! Interesting, and a good Street shot. Fav
I too really like this shot Pam, the people in the background definitely make it street photography. I particularly like the way you've positioned the curve in the foreground which leads the eye down between the shops.
As you know I live in MK and often wander through here in my lunch time, the processing you have done is really great, taking out the riot of colours really defines the textures and shapes
Love all the lines at the top and bottom of the image... also how my eye is drawn down to people and store clear at the end... so, great composition! fav
