4th August 2015 - Band of Hope 1917

Another old photo on the wall of the bakers. Just wanted to include in my project so don't worry about commenting.

I have never heard of the Band of Hope - I looked them up and it looks like it was a Christian ministry who did not agree with drinking. I love this shot of the children from 1917. Not sure what happened to the organisation - I don't remember them in Nunhead when we lived there from 1955 onwards.

Uploaded for my alternate album
Wonderful Pam. Especially love that huge bow top middle and that little one at the front who obviously couldn't sit still!

Obviously doomed from the start if that was their only raison d'ĂȘtre. ha ha ha
