Dead centre - nearly!!

Well I was trying to be dead centre for this shot standing in the middle of the road. Taffy was counting down how long I had standing there before the lights changed and the cars started moving again. I had to be quick and I think I did not quite manage to get the shot dead centre. Shame there were cars and vans in the shot - you have to be really early on a Sunday morning I think to get an empty street.

@taffy I think this is the Board of Trade building I am looking at? Great fun with you doing the count down!!

Brave girl. It looks pretty dead center to me. Good job.

The traffic adds a sense of movement. I like the effect from the fish eye lens.

Very effective fisheye shot :)

Talk about a symmetry nightmare made worse by the fisheye but wow! You did great. I like the traffic adding a sense of space and context

Nice to have a photo partner to make sure you don't get run over.

I had to laugh (with you, not at you) about the perils of trying to shoot in the middle of roads. I've had some interesting times myself doing that. FYI, the best times are early Christmas Day and Good Friday, you could turn handsprings down the road in Geelong then. Love the shot nevertheless, very interesting view with your trusty fisheye.

Wonderful image, I think the vehicles add to the image, gives a sense of depth that would be missing without them.
