The plane went out over the sea and then turned to come back in to land at St John's. You can see the entrance to the harbour here and the beautiful house we are staying in has views over the harbour. We are here in Newfoundland and I am so looking forward to investigating St John's itself and the surrounding area in the next couple of days before we drive up to Trinity for a couple of days.
This was a fabulous view! Pam and I had the best side of the plane for photos all the way, and it only continued to get better (like this!) as we swung out over the ocean before flying back in! Very nice image, Pam!
