So many great views from our garden. I loved this image with the girls all walking towards the water. The beach across the water is actually quite a distance by road as you have to drive to Barnstable and get over the bridge on the river. Its private land and you have to pay a toll to drive through the fields to get to it. Well worth it as not many people know how to get there and the dogs can run free. We will probably take a picnic over there one day in the week to avoid the well known crowded beaches where dogs are not allowed in the summer.

It bugs me mightily that well-behaved dogs are so restricted on beaches. The only true lead-free beach round here is around half an hour's drive away. I used to take Sheba there sometimes, but Maggie's not keen on water so haven't bothered.
What a lovely beach - I hate crowds
Great shot
