Mahone Bay

We had a lovely lunch at Mahone Bay today. I was tempted to have scallops or fish chowder but when the waitress said what was on the specials board she said haddock and prawn risotto and as risotto is one of my favourite dishes that's what I ordered. When she came back with our food she gave me fish cakes which I said was wrong as I ordered risotto. Guess what - the risotto was in the fishcakes. I have never had fishcakes made with orso rice before - only potato. It was delicious and really creamy. I am learning something new every day!! LOL!!
