The boats were out sailing this morning as it was coming up to high tide. I am showing this image as you can see the other side of the estuary which is the edge of Braunton Burrows. This is the largest sand dune area in the UK and there is a very interesting history of the area in Wikipedia especially the Military history especially how they were used by the United States in WW2.
