It's a long way up the cliff path!! The white house is at the end of the lane where we are staying - down the first part of the steep hill. There is a bench there overlooking the beach for the breathless fools who have staggered back up the path - me!!
It really is an interesting coastline and the ruin below the white house is an old lime kiln. Lots of history!!
This view is looking along the cost towards Westward Ho! and of course our lovely Instow both with wonderful sandy beaches. How strange the way the coast changes in such a short distance.
It was cloudy when we ventured down to the beach and the sun was coming out as we got back to the top. The rest of the day was very warm and sunny!! Unbelievable weather we are having for North Devon!!
Oh I know that feeling staggering up a hill, I’ve done mine again today with two bags of shopping.
