Just to keep you updated. Katy the house duck is now back with her mum the Muscovy duck. She spent the night under the bantam chicken keeping warm. She is the duckling at the bottom of the shot and as you may be able to see she is definitely smaller than her siblings. Denise and Pete are keeping an eye on her in case she isn't eating. Hopefully she will be ok. She is much stronger now and is walking really well. Let's hope she catches up with the others.
Denise says she is missing her Katy but being realistic a muscovy duck is quite a big duck to have in the house!!
Well, that's a positive sign. Hopefully the chicken serves as a surrogate to allow mama duck to welcome the baby into the fold. I'm sure you'll keep us updated.
