27th November 2014 - How old am?

This is one of the 15 fir trees they have chopped down - why I ask myself? I love all the circles on the freshly chopped trunk.

The rings all look evenly spaced. Does that mean there has not been a weather event? Shame they had to cut them down.

Great detail....too bad about all the trees. If one was so inclined I guess we could figure the age of the tree by counting the rings. I guess I will leave that to someone else.

Altho I hate to see trees cut down it's interesting to see the growth rings and varying colours

19+ years to grow and probably less than that in minutes to cut them down, what a shame :(
