On Friday when I drove down to Devon with Finlay we arrived too early to get into the house in Instow. I went to Westward Ho! first but you cannot take dogs on the beach at this time of year so I drove a little way along the coast to Northam Burrows. There is a links golf course behind the sea wall of rocks. What amused me were the sheep and the horses loose on the golf course. A slight handicap I would have thought!! LOL!! As we walked back to the car about 20 horses came across towards the car park. I quickly got Finlay into the car as he does not like horses.
It was quite misty which is why Northam Village looks soft.
A fascinating story and photo. Horses and sheep on the golf course??? Surely never heard of that. Definitely a handicap, huh?! Wonder how the golfers manage?
@ubobohobo perhaps it's a small town? Not sure when a village becomes a town. It's certainly much smaller than the small town where I live in Northamptonshire. Perhaps someone can tell us?
