Waiting for our roast beef lunch to be served. Very tasty it was too although I don't understand why they cannot cook the vegetables a bit more? I like them cooked and not crunchy!! Is it just me?
My sister Barbara having a gin and tonic before lunch - a very unusual sight as she normally only drinks a glass of Harvey's Bristol Cream in the evening. I managed to get her to join me in a birthday drink!!

I am with you Pam as far as veggies go. I like them cooked too. Also I liked cooked beef too. I really hate raw beef on a plate. A good vet would have it back on its feet in no time.
@onewing I was very pleased to see that the beef was well done - just as I like it! I can't stand any meat not well done! I hate the way the chefs dish up meat these days!
Did I miss this because I was just back from the hospital? A belated Happy Birthday Barbara! I heard all about that lovely lunch and must remember to thoroughly cook Pam's veggies! The fisheye lens adds a nice view to the room here!
