I just had to share this with you!! Yesterday was my great niece Sophie's 17th birthday and we popped round to give her cards and presents. She was showing me all the other presents she had received when she said "oh yes I got Better than Sex too" I almost choked on the coffee I was drinking and said "what on earth?". Well Better than Sex is a mascara!! and here is Sophie showing me. I just ask the question "WHY?". I have never heard of the make which I am told is very expensive. I feel very old!! LOL!!
I took some sneaky photos of Sophie as she would not pose for me for a birthday portrait but she said she didn't want me to put them up on 365 or FB as her nose looks too big!! I give up!! You should see the selfie that went up after a night of drinking with her friends!! Yes drinking at 17!!
No, they don't want you to use FB or 365 for their photos but if they put them up, its OK. She has lovely brown eyes that are going to benefit from this oddly named present!
I do agree - the times have really changed! Think my reaction is similar to yours - I've been known to ask my granddaughter "You're not going out in those, are you??" Knowing darn well she is :) Cute idea for a shot here.
I have never heard of that brand of mascara either. My 21 year old daughter always says I can take photos but I am not allowed to post them to social media pages. I do let the odd one slip through :0)
Great capture, know that restriction, my daughter has to inspect any pic I take of her, I do put up on social media occassionally but have to think very hard about the tagging LOL
Imagine a 17 year old being self conscious about something. I'm sure she's in the minority about her nose. Great fun shot, and I am now more knowledgeable about mascara that I was just minutes ago.

@Weezilou you put it perfectly Louise! As she was voted most attractive girl in her year I think she doth protest too much! She knows how beautiful she is - she just does not want someone else in charge of what photos go on social media. If you could see the selfies she puts up - made up to the nines and looking 27 not 17! They also use very strange poses and facial expressions which I think makes them ugly but all their friends think is beautiful! OMG so glad I am not 17 years old now with all the social media! I was self conscious back then - just imagine what it would have been like! It's a cruel world now for the young!
