After sunset by pamknowler

After sunset

I have waited all week for a sunset worth a shot but every night if we saw the sun it disappeared behind a bank of clouds. The same thing happened today and I put the camera away. About half an hour later I noticed the light in the lounge had changed. When I looked out the sky had changed colour completely. Such a lovely sight.

An iPhone shot.

My car is packed all ready for an early start. I am giving in to my bad back - my own bed is calling!
Stunning color!

SO worth taking -- and your iPhone was the best camera to use, if that was the one that was ready.
Did you end up liking the bridge camera more than the last time? It still is the one getting the best reviews for the price when I look for a 600mm, RAW-shooting, reasonable weight camera.

So sorry to hear your back's so bad, that part of our bodies is so prone to painful problems. Hope the darned thing improves quickly for you. Lovely sunset shot to bid farewell to your holiday. iPhones take good shots nowadays, I use mine quite a lot now when just out and about doing jobs/errands/dog-walking.

it is the best time of the day. The sky after the sun has actually set is my favourite time. The clouds look amazing.

Absolutely gorgeous! I fully expect that we had a sunset just like this this evening, but here in the subdivision, we'd have to drive 20 minutes (if there was no traffic haha) to get to the beach where there would be no parking and I'd just frustrate myself wanting a photo and not getting one. Welcome to life in Southern California ...unless you're one of the many fortunate people with multi-million dollar homes with an ocean view! (and I don't mean just 2 or 3 million, but much more than that! ... Who ARE all those people?!)
