This is Frank who is one of Murphy's neighbours and he has the most untidy mane I have ever seen. You could not see his eyes and I am not sure he could see me very well. Poor horse he looks a bit neglected to me unlike Murphy!!
Did you ask anyone about it? it really is strange but maybe there is a reason - like he has light sensitive eyes? I don't know a thing about horses but if that is simply neglect - that is just not right.
@stownsend I took this shot just as we were leaving - I hadn't seen Frank before as he kept inside his stable. I am going to send it to my friends partner and ask - the whole stable complex is owned by her sister - lots of different owners.
@stownsend I asked Simon's partner about Frank and she says he is a traditional Cob and they have incredibly thick flowing manes unlike Murphy whose mane is so thin it usually falls out.
Poor Frank, looks very much like he's neglected. Will be interested to hear what transpires with your follow-up. I can't stand people neglecting the animals they're responsible for.
