Come on England!!

A closeup of the sign in stones on top of the hill opposite our house. This is a permanent fixture - not sure when it was first done but it is kept painted fresh so you can see it from afar. Just Googled this and it was done by 15 football fans who live in Chelmorton in support of the England team in the 2014 World Cup. Lets hope England do better this time!!

I thought it was the right day to show you this as it is England's first football match in the 2018 World Cup in Russia. I am definitely not a football fan but I have to support my country!! So "Come on England - lets start the tournament by winning your first match!!"

Great to see something like that being maintained. As for the soccer, I am definitely not a fan but I still watched the Aussies play France a couple of nights ago. Fingers crossed they can win at least one match. As for football, I'm a died-in-the-wool Australian Football fan.
