This is another shot from 2016 and it is the eagle catching the fish he was eating on the beach yesterday. Just look at those claws!! His eye sight is amazing as the fish had been thrown in while he was in a tree on shore and he flew straight in and picked it up. Such a breathtaking display of power. I felt as if I could touch this bird as he flew in for his fish - a close encounter!!
