I knew he would return. As I sat eating my lunch today I had my camera at my side - just in case!! Suddenly there he was and he stayed for a while posing for me. The birds keep coming to the feeders but I am not putting out any food at the moment. I think it was the bird food that was attracting the hedgehogs and having stopped a few weeks ago we have not had any more visits thank goodness. I know there are enough insects and berries around at the moment so the birds are not going hungry. When the weather turns colder and the hedgehogs go into hibernation I will put the bird food out over the winter.
Please note I do like hedgehogs but my two Westies want to kill them and all hell lets loose if one comes to the garden.
