Finlay watching Susan Calman’s Secret Scotland which was on TV last night. If you get the chance - watch it. So many fabulous places - I so want to return to Scotland and explore. Highlight was her visit to Bass Rock an island off the coast which is one of the largest gannet colonies in the world. I visited a few years ago and still remember the thrill of being so close to such beautiful birds!
I love how Finlay is engrossed with the show too- thinking of chasing those birds I suppose! Cute shot! I so want to go to Scotland- even the unsecret parts!
Love the photo and Finlay watching TV. I've been to Scotland twice, once for a conference with a holiday week tacked on which I spent in the Highlands with the sister of a close fellow economic history colleague and best mate. Went back to the Highlands for a month five years later to stay with them and play golf all over the place. Played 19 times in about 26 days on a great variety of Highland courses. Had a ball too. Some 16 years later I look back on those time with great fondness and try to remember how few physical problems I had then!
