Aggression

I have so many shots of the starlings - at least 20 on the two feeders as they fight over the meal worms that it's difficult to choose which one to use.

I thought the one showed how aggressive these birds can be with each other when there is choice food around!!

Mealworms in the feeder....we have only just started feeding mealworms & the starlings must have sniffed them out because we were inundated every morning...it got far too much...greedy fights & the little birds hadn’t a chance. Now we don’t put the mealworms out until mid afternoon & mix them with seeds on the ground feeder.
We still get a few but in much more manageable numbers, perhaps five at the most. Lovely birds but they are bossy!
