Yesterday afternoon Denise brought up a tray of home made scones, Clotted Cream and Strawberry Jam. The smell was wonderful!! Ruth arrived with the girls - very timely - and we had cream tea in the garden!! Our one and only meal in the garden in the two weeks of our visit!! The sun shone and it was really warm!! What a lovey treat!! Denise is the most generous host!!

@happypat I have a week carried from last year when I got an e- voucher from holiday company - I gave up trying to get my money back! So a week in a lovely house in Appledore and then we go straight over to Hugglepit Cottage in Clovelly for two weeks. So that’s 3 weeks in August sorted! It’s such a long drive - it takes me a few days to recover!
