Extras - Early walk

Another shot form our walk this morning. It was quite chilly but in the sunshine the frost had melted and the grass was hanging with droplets of water.

Wet feet!! Must find some waterproof shoes/boots which are comfortable. Any recommendations?

It's 5th November and Guy Faulks day here in the UK which means fireworks!! We have been having fireworks for the last week as it is also Diwali - any excuse to set off fireworks!! We are going to have lots being set off this evening and I am sure more tomorrow and then on and on until New Year!! Yes I hate fireworks as my poor boys are shaking wrecks and bark every time they hear one go off. Gone are the days when people had small garden fireworks - now they seem to have huge display fireworks which are definitely too big for our small gardens!! Not happy!!
Beautiful sky and image.

A lovely place to walk. Here we can’t shoot fireworks in the sky in the city limits. Sparklers and little loud fireworks are all that’s allowed. The little Black Cat fireworks are so loud though! I’m sorry the boys are miserable!

There are plenty of serious walkers/hikers here on 365 for recommendations on waterproof shoes but I swear by Merrell Moab GTX gore-tex hiking shoes, mids or boots for both comfort and waterproofing. I have had many pairs of these now and haven't bought a normal pair of sneakers for 20 odd years and it all started after a visit to the UK when my feet were almost permanently wet .
