Storm in a Bottle

there is a kind of paint called ceramcoat gleams, they come in silver, gold or pearlized. It is usually sold in 2 ounce bottles. You put a quarter (American coin) sized blob of paint in a bottle and add water and shake it, let the water settle for at least 6 hours then pour out all but the glitter that has settled to bottom and repeat 2 or 3 times until water stays clear, then add food coloring and you can seal the lid on with wax or a matching color of melted crayon, or just screw on tightly. These are old drink and olive oil bottles we used with a first grade class
How nice! thanks for sharing.
