The most productive thing that I have done this summer, arrived in a box at my house while I was out camping! 14 years in the making, this little 30,000 word, time twisted, Oregon Trail novel has lived in my head a long time. Nice to see it in the real world.
@hoosierhokie@cimes1@worthitall@suek I love this place. When I first signed up for 365 I had no idea how therapeutic and supportive the site is and how many wonderful people share their friendship
@karenann Thanks Karen you are one of the best 365ers. @georgews Thanks, this was the stubborn one. I published two middle school fantasy novels while it was refusing to come together.
Sounds like an interesting read! I will make a point of searching it out! I used to be an avid reading when I had the time....now I read and write just way too many reports...Just the facts, please! And it is so boring! I would rather use my imagination to write! Anyway, congrats to you, Dixie!
Dixie, Congrats on the book! I know you're happy getting it printed after so much time in your head and in the writing.
About the "Fisherman", Germany has found it very important to have clean industry and the area where the fish was caught is clean enough to swim! I know how things are in the U.S. and why you were skeptical but it's true.
congratulations, DIXIE! so happy for you, what an accomplishment. getting published is nothing to sneeze at and to have kept this in your head for all those years? i greatly admire you. am leaving right now to go check this out! fav!
your book is amazing, Dixie, you are a very talented writer from the small sample i read online at amazon. the cover is so attractive. your concept is so intriguing and sure to hold the interest of the population you intended.
@gnilrets That is very cool Sterling, and good to know. My Niece is moving to Austria for a semester and the summer starting in January, so we are trying to help her learn some Germ and a few facts about the area.
Well, I am just going save this info and the next time I clean Judy's house, buy myself a copy!! Congratulations. It seems the more determined I become to transfer my manuscript into the format the website you suggested requires, the less time I've had to get it done. But I will get it done!!!
congratulations, dixie. i was viewing your album this afternoon during my break at work and saw this (yeah, where have you been, summerfield!). this is awesome. i went to a website and read the synopsis and wow! i'm a fan. i would like to buy a copy so i am going to figure that out tomorrow. is it on amazon? i'm so happy for you and hopefully that would be a kick in the ass for me to get on with that novel i've been writing by the piece-meal. again, congratulations. now, let's promote it so it will make the new york times! :-)
@summerfield New York Times ! LOL!! I do love the dream. Yes BTW all my books are on amazon and you can find them by looking for Dixie Dawn Miller Goode, I have an author page on Amazon that shows them in paperback and kindle
