Dog Days

The words Dog Days of summer don't mean much here where heat never really happens. But these were my dog days back when my boys were young and our rescue racers were part of the family. I usually call this picture, "George and Grace in Motion"

There they are! We have a brindle as well, and a black...they're just awesome!

@graemestevens When we adopted them, the trade towers had just fallen and planes were grounded and the two we were supposed to be having flown in from Arizona couldn't come, but these were from up by Portland and when they heard of out missed opportunity, they brought then 400 miles by truck to us.
