I was lucky today and got to talk to her and both my brothers. She told me it was her birthday and they had cake and she got three blouses. All true. She also told me she was at a picnic table at the college in Powell Wyoming with them and my Dad was there (She is in Virginia and Dad died in 1997) so she was clearer than a lot of times and knew who I was, but denied having ever seen a picture or heard of any great grandchildren, but since she hasn't met Daisy or Gavin, that is understandable. Still it was great to hear her voice and to also talk to Lance. He sounded glad to be there and was happy.
It must be hard to be so far away. But from the sounds of it, she knows you love her and think of her often. Wish I could do the same with my folks! Sweet shot.
