This is the high street in Kristiansand. I believe I was last there about 12 years ago and it took nearly half an hour to be served, with around 10 - 12 people ahead of me. Surely that was a one off, I thought, surely things would have improved 12 years later? This time round it took over 15 minutes to be served with 5 people in front of me, so I thought I'd put it on the 365. While 2 incidents is not perhaps indicative of the average user experience, I would say that this McD is the slowest fast food place I have been to anywhere in the world, with the sole exception of the Burger King (now sadly closed down) a few doors down from the Dominion in Tottenham Court Road which was, back in the 80's & 90's, the slowest place for service I have ever come across, year in, year out, without exception. I would actually take people there who didn't believe the stories. Yup, stick with me for a good time.....
