Year 2-2014
When I started this project last January I thought I would try it for a year and then move on to something else with a great sense of accomplishment. Well, after an entire year of posting faithfully daily I feel like I have just scratched the surface, and I could not even imagine saying goodbye to this wonderful community of supportive, talented, creative, fun individuals from all around the world who share my passion for photography. Yes, I am hooked, and I cannot imagine a better addiction than this! I have upgraded to an Ace membership, I am planning on participating in more themes and challenges, and I will be constantly learning and growing thanks to all the people who love to share their knowledge on this site.

Year 1
I had been thinking about doing the 365 project for about a year, and decided to take the plunge on January 1, 2013. So far, this has been an amazing journey of discovery, both of self and the world around me. Yes, there are stressful days as I feared when midnight strikes, and I still have no picture for the day! But most days I love exploring and finding things to photograph, and it has certainly expanded my horizons. I am an architect by profession, fortunate enough to live in southern California within walking distance to the ocean, and to enjoy daily sunsets over the Pacific Ocean. I continue learning from this community, and enjoy the camaraderie and support.
